David joined our staff as Worship Pastor in June of 2017 after serving at Malesus Baptist Church in Jackson, TN for 9 years.

David married his high school sweetheart, Nicole, in 2012. They have two children: Henley and Coleman. David’s family enjoys playing outside and getting competitive at board and card games.

David enjoys training for and running in local races, hiking the beautiful Ozark trails, and kayaking as often as he can!

Isaiah 26: 3-4 You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. Trust in the Lord forever, for the LORD GOD is an everlasting rock.

I was privileged to sing a beautiful choral arrangement of these verses several years ago, and they have remained with me as a reminder to always trust in the Lord. His peace has been invaluable through the storms of life.

It doesn’t take long for anyone to realize that our FBC family loves to praise our Lord through song. I love leading a congregation who uses their hearts and voices to joyously praise our Lord! We praise Him for who He is and what He has done. He alone is worthy!
